Stoneboat farm is hiring for a Vegetable Processing Lead position. This is a year round post where your main responsibilities are washing and packing an assortment of vegetables. About Stoneboat farm:
Stoneboat Farm is a sustainable diversified vegetable farm in Helvetia Oregon. We primarily serve our community through our CSA and farmers markets. One of our core beliefs is that if we take care of our soil’s health, then this land will nourish us all. That care is expressed through expansive cover cropping, beneficial insects, crop rotation, and an emphasis on natural soil amendments. However this priority of sustainability goes beyond plant health. We believe that this goal necessitates a sustainable work environment as well. Ergonomics, mechanization, and a culture of ever improving open-mindedness contribute to a positive work experience. Our crew is a collection of newer and experienced farmers, they are wonderful to work with, generous with their knowledge, and make our farm a really nice place to work (if I do say so myself!).
